  Super friendly people serving from their kitchen. It's a family restaurant, literally. The same family that started it 2 generations ago. Food was good and great price. Going back to the hotel with a full happy belly. I will definitely be stopping here again when we pass through.

  From the outside, I never would have stopped. But never judge a book by it's cover!
  Delightful owner who said the place has been in his family for many years. Our waitress was a sheer delight. Joking and friendly and gave me a kiss on my cheek as we hugged bye. I like huggers! Oh yeah and the food is good too! I had pancake enchiladas with green sauce and sopapillas. That was a first for me and I really liked it. My husband had a burger with Swiss cheese and he said it was outstanding. Not just a sweet shop, for sure. Don't miss it. Affordably priced for large portions .

  Went here completely expecting the typical fare, were delighted with above and beyond. Homemade bread for their sandwiches and their french fries were fresh and hand-cut. I think maybe even the onion rings were handmade. The waitress was super friendly and shared some of the restaurant's history with us. When we went, they were no longer making candy, which did disappoint us.
